Summary

43–44 West Street is a protected corner building with fabric dating to about 1675, remodelled in the early nineteenth century and later adapted for commercial use. Its carved plaque, association with the Battle of the Boyne and proximity to the abbey ruins give it archaeological, architectural and historical significance.
